In April 2018 during Deep Tech Atelier event in Riga with support of Commercialization Reactor, EMPYRIO project was founded as a startup to commercialize technology of organic waste utilization in compact fluidized bed incinerator.

Later in July 2018 entity EMPYRIO SIA was founded and applied for pre-seed investments of EUR 50k, which where succesfully raised togeter with participation in acceleration program from Commercialization Reactor Fund (CRF). After finishing CRF acceleration program, EMPYRIO was accepted into Climate KIC accelerator in April 2019 for Stage 2 with grant support of EUR 15k. Later in 2020 continued Climate KIC acceleration for Stage 3 with grant support of EUR 44k.

Now EMPYRIO is looking for seed investment of EUR 0,5M with EUR 250k co-financing existing possibility for industrial prototype for sewage sludge utilization development, production and testing.
