EMPYRIO has signed a contract with SPRIND (Bundesagentur für Sprunginnovationen), the
German Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation, for the validation of its containerized thermal
sewage sludge utilization technology.
SPRIND is a government agency established by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs
and Climate Action and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research to identify and support
high-risk, breakthrough innovations.

brought together participating startups from the SPRIND ecosystem for high-level industry
discussions and provided a platform to connect with deep tech investors who utilize SPRIND’s
vetting process for investment evaluation.
This trip was co-financed by the project “CLEANTECH LATVIA” (No.
