On November 20–21, EMPYRIO participated in Slush 2024 in Helsinki– one of Europe’s leading events for startups, innovators, and investors.
Our CEO Alexander Belskis represented the company throughout the
two-day event, engaging in valuable discussions around sustainable
wastewater and sludge management, and connecting with potential
partners, investors, and technology leaders.
A highlight of our participation was the Pitch & Bites: Investor Lunch with Latvian Startups on
November 21, where Alexander Belskis presented EMPYRIO’s solution for on-site sewage sludge
utilisation in small and medium-sized wastewater treatment plants. The session sparked insightful
conversations and opened doors to new opportunities for collaboration.

StartupLatvia, and the Embassy of Latvia in Finland for their support and for helping to showcase
Latvian cleantech on an international stage.
